Pros

Work from home Good salary Good car (but taxed on 11k tax free allowance - so lost my full allowance) Good Bonus Nice colleagues with the exception of a few who treated me like garbage - forgot they weren’t talking to a non-paying client but an internal colleague, blaming me for what a client does is simply not on.

Cons

Work from home Poor CRM system Old fashioned method of generating leads/marketing Won’t listen to new ideas Didn’t give full autonomy to book up diary to build relationships and do real hunting and account development- most work done from home on phone (what’s the point in having a car I paid tremendous amounts of tax for) - not face to face. Only allowed to go see a client if it was a big job - no big jobs because of lack of ability/permission to just go and fill diary and work on it properly for a good 18 months to build up contacts/relationships therefore building new accounts/business. Too many poor quality products coming out of manufacturing- that took up sales time - going to site to fix - with a drill! Once told to go fix 10 of 40 bollards in one order, not done properly in factory, ended up having to open up all 40, finding 30 that needed doing - with a cheap chargeable drill (£10 drill), ended up having to use clients equipment and was there most of the day - taking the bollard out of package, fixing, then re-packaging... it was the last straw so to speak.
