Pros

The technical staff are overall very competent and solid. (But I don't know whether this can be maintained in spite of turnover.)

Cons

Software leadership is incompetent and toxic, kissing up and kicking down. Leaders insist on making poor decisions, then pass blame when results are bad. Salary compensation is really low compared to what one can get elsewhere. To make up for this, offers are accompanied by manipulative "sales tactics" around the future value of one's equity.

Pros

- Excellent group interdisciplinary domain leadership. - Culture is of honesty, and compassion. - Innovative technology and excellent potential.

Cons

- Lack of upper level leadership. Dictatorship with no experience in production based products. - Leadership does not understand the difference between a science experiment and a product. - Leadership discounts the expertise of workers. - Does not offer competitive Pay, thus will never be able to hire or retain top talent. TC is typically half of what is offered in other companies. -

Cons

Very hard to feel valued as an employee Compensation often below market rates and some benefits lacking Senior leadership often gloss over problems in communications with company and set schedules that are too ambitious and end up leading to oversights
