Employee discount is better than many in industry, four-day work weeks are nice.

Cons

Corporate decisions don't end up having negative impacts on corporate job security so much as it does the retail staff's job security. Constant culture of fear being cultivated and maintained from the higher-ups. Industry is in a tough spot for everyone, but Lightshade puts itself in a worse position by its awful leadership.

Where do I even begin; This company does not care about their employees whatsoever. They literally fired more than half without a heads up or warning that any cuts would be happening. The owner of the company came in once while I worked there but never even acknowledged the employees working besides the store manager, let alone the new employees that had started. That should of been my first warning sign. We did receive samples from the other vendors but management was extremely stingy with them and almost made it seem like a big deal we asked for the samples that were brought for us. The owner has run this company into the ground and basically bankrupted the company. They sold more than half their locations and fired all of their staff without a warning or anything.
