Pros

Loadsmith is generally a good place to work. -Salary is okay but not great, health insurance is fantastic. -Excellent office with lots of space, snacks provided, good equipment. -Great longterm outlook. Ownership has big plans for the direction of the company and there is every indication they will succeed.

Cons

Other review about the leadership team is accurate. They all worked at another large company together and founded Loadsmith. There are no real advancement opportunities if you're not in that group. It's a small club, and we aren't in it. Severe lack of SOP's. This is getting better but can tell there's been a culture of "just get it done" since the beginning. This is the least sales focused organization I have ever seen in the business of sales. Management is pushing for increased revenue from account managers, and increased margin on buy from carrier reps. However, there is very little focus on generating new business. A recent addition to the management team appears to be addressing this issue. One particular member of management has a serious blood pressure issue. He will see red and start calling around yelling at people until he's deemed whatever imaginary or real issue is solved to his satisfaction. These outbursts at least double the amount of time it takes for the fix to occur.
