Cashiering isn't particularly hard and you get a 40% discount.

Cons

With the discount everything is still expensive. The management is friendly but wouldn't give workers hazard pay during corona and the benefits are not very good. The Ceo said he would bring up employee concerns to the board and then never did. There were also issues of sexism and racism.

Used to be the people, but they all left/got fired for “cutbacks.”

Cons

No direction, racist upper management, misogyny for days, no respect for employees, no pay raises/cost of living raises for staff, but upper management gets raises, cut the staff but expect more work to be done, over worked, under appreciated, no creative control over any aspect, upper management doesn’t understand the business, ruined the great culture the place used to have, hired people who don’t respect the point of the business, two faced upper management that will tell you one thing then do the exact opposite.
