Micro-managed environment driven by disconnected leadership
Pros
The day-to-day operations staff is incredibly resilient, highly capable, and hard-working. The frontline team genuinely understands the business and does their best to support one another despite the internal challenges.
Cons
The current work environment has become incredibly hostile and counterproductive due to the leadership style at the top. The new CEO is completely disconnected from the actual reality of the operations staff. Rather than collaborating or utilizing the expertise of the existing team, it is strictly an "its either my way or the highway" mentality. Furthermore, there is a severe lack of baseline technical and operational competency from executive leadership. It is incredibly frustrating to be micromanaged by someone who lacks the capacity to understand daily workflows and struggles with basic workplace technology, yet refuses to listen to the experts they hired. This top-down rigidity has severely damaged morale.
