Pros

High salaries for a nonprofit. Kind coworkers.

Cons

Really inefficient place to work. A lot of middle management and internal politics. Too much focus on high level strategy over results. Very corporate feeling.

Pros

-Good compensation for CDFI industry -Good work/life balance -Solid benefits

Cons

Executives made a series of unforced errors over the past year that negatively impacted lending operations. LIIF seems to be in an identity crisis: are we a CDFI lender or an ECE nonprofit?

Optics more important than substance

Pros

Benefits available are the only positive thing about LIIF

Cons

Executive "leadership" specializes in pointing fingers and taking zero accountability for their contributions to failure. This example trickles down to next level leadership and causes nothing but stress, disfunction, and mistrust. The bare minimum done for the optics, such as engagement surveys, mean nothing as there is never any action to follow up employee feedback.
