Pros
Fast paced startup. Opportunities to deliver impact. Cool vision to disrupt insurance space. Some hires in last year or so were more experienced and much needed.
Cons
Too many frequent changes to strategy and team structure. Leadership lacks understanding of Focus and spreads the company too thin to work on everything under the sun. Balance of experience in teams not healthy; too many juniors. Was unable to raise next round of funding for over a year (during industry wide crisis) resulting in layoffs and hiring freezes; now acquired by British insurer.
