With a leader running the show across multiple cities — with zero people management skills — and the backing of a leadership team, you'll lose your self-worth, confidence, and faith in your ability as a valuable worker (no matter how brilliant you think you are or can be). There's no point in confronting this leader. None in complaining to the HR either. There's literally no one in the organisation who can help you navigate your very real concerns about working under this person. You'll face tremendous anxiety because you'll find yourself justifying your position/stance to this person every single day. You'll get to bed with stinkers haunting you over email and wake up to a new batch in the mornings. There will be no work-life balance. You'll cry on your birthday, your anniversary, your vacation.
