Launching Businesses and Careers
Pros
I started as an intern and was offered a full-time paid position at the company. Eventually my priorities shifted and I decided the pursue an opportunity elsewhere. Regardless, had it not been for what I learned at MSR and the accomplishments that I achieved while with the company - I would not be where I am today. -Tight-knit team. Being so junior when I came in, I was learning from senior staff within the first week. Employees learn a lot and quick, but with respect to their background and the environment. I always felt like my supervisors were patient with me and allowed to grow into my roll. -No micromanagement. Rarely do you have anyone looking over your shoulder. That being said, you are expected to ask questions and complete projects to perfection. I did see people who couldn't pull their own weight get let go. They value their talent. I moved into my role and watched others do the same. If MSR sees potential in you, they will keep you around and make it worth your while.
Cons
-Sometimes tough to deal with client turnover. A lot of our clients came in on just project-basis, and it would be a challenge to ramp-up with new people that were just coming on board for a bit.
