Pros

Nice colleagues, interesting accounts, decent salary (for Berlin)

Cons

All managers have 0 experience managing people and that is very obvious, and they get promoted so they don’t get salary increases.

Best place to work at!

Pros

Working here means working at the technology frontier and being able to positively shape the digital transformation of Europe. Working with incredibly smart people on challenging projects, partnering up with exciting companies from startups to multinational enterprises, supported by the best freelancers in the tech industry and not just concepting, but actually building mindblowing solutions and business models is what I love about MVPF. The company has allowed me to make bigs steps forward in my personal & professional development and helped me build a network of high profile business contacts. If you are eager, entrepreneurial and hard-working MVPF will be the perfect for you to thrive, just like it has been for me. The company strongly invests into their employees, helping them gain new skill and build new capabilities. The flat hierarchy and feedback culture offer allows you to get involved and the management is very transparent. The flexible working hours and vacation policy with focus on output and not time spent are great! Last, but not least they have the sickest office in Berlin. The view is unreal.

Cons

The office is a bit far from the city center at Treptower park and there are not so many good food options around.

Started out great, decayed in time

Pros

great, hard-working people. used to enjoy flexibility in how and when we did our jobs. cool projects and opportunities to learn.

Cons

the decay started around the time it was acquired by another company. management / C-suite people became incredibly robust/inflexible. a lack of transparency started seething in. no salary raises, empty promises, lack of leadership.

Pros

Super smart people from very diverse background - genuinely love working with such a talented bunch! Full autonomy to work in your own way and challenge the process if necessary Digital transformation/software market presents some really interesting topics that are constantly developing Flexibility in how/where you work Opportunity to develop internally/cross train - if you put yourself out there Competitive Salary Regular team events, off-sites and annual workation in Cape Town Office view is probably the best in Berlin :)

Cons

Still developing a lot of processes to deal with increased scale/new structures - not so much a con, but can sometimes be challenging Normal growing pains when hiring rapidly As with many flexible/remote companies, can be difficult to get everyone together

Cult-like mentality

Pros

+ good list of clients, so you can make a nice portfolio + nice colleagues (not in management) + good office location + overall very smart people, so you can exchange ideas and learn + diversity

Cons

- HR will share your salary details with colleagues?!?! which is illegal in Germany - cult-like mentality: we are the best, everyone else is stupid.. when we win deals is because we are the best, when we lose, the client is stupid, and doesn't understand how great we are - you can't disagree with P. (the CEO), he expect to be worshipped like a genius, which he is not - the company is run like a cult, with the CEO at the top - people with 0 experience in management become managers?! - a strong blame culture, not a start-up mentality :(

Don't come

Pros

Despite losing talents every month, there are still a few talented individuals on the team.

Cons

Below-average salary. The ship is sinking, and as people continue to leave the company, the toxic culture and depression only intensifies. However, this is of little concern to the leadership, as they have exited the company to private equity and profited handsomely from the sale.
