      Stuck in 1980 and dying because of it.

      Pros

      Hard working piers. Most everybody at the station level Justin P. V.P. of International.

      Cons

      COO and Founder are both stuck in 1980 and manage as such. Salaries are mediocre and the benefits are awful. Very shady in their dealings and quick to have their lawyers try to intimidate you. They state industry leading commission. This is a complete joke.

      Just another Forwarder

      Pros

      Most of the team “wants to” be part of a team. There’s plenty of people with knowledge of the industry which makes working together easier.

      Cons

      Work / life balance expectations are ridiculous. Just like a lot of Forwarders, expected to work (50) hours a week but when you take a week vacation, you only get paid for (40) hours.. huh! Salaried employees still have to clock in / out... smh.

      Pros

      The management of this company always welcomed suggestions. As a matter of fact, they implemented quite a few of the ideas I submitted to them. The company never denied educational opportunities that I requested. The Founder of this company kept MANY people employed during the recession at great personal cost. I will ALWAYS be 100% loyal to Mach 1!

      Cons

      I would still be working at Mach 1 if I could have telecommuted a couple days a week. Traffic took its toll on me; I am currently retired.
