The managements doesn’t show great care for their employees. Entire teams can go unnoticed and unsupervised. Some people made their way to the top with terrible management skills and it can make the experience painful for someone that cares. Pre-acquisition, it really felt like your performance would in no way impact your salary, career opportunities or how you would be recognised.

- I noticed that most people were overworked and stressed across all departments, not just the dev team. There was a high staff turnover because of this so my team changed project managers 3 times in 1 year. - The way they reward employees for going "above and beyond" is unfair - it's purely based on number of Kudos received in the HR system over a period of time. I won one of these awards not long after I joined the company when my teammates, who had worked there a lot longer and far harder than I had, were the ones who deserved it, not me. - My performance reviews were done by a senior developer who was so busy he never had time to check in with me and see what I was doing, so I didn't find it helpful. Occasionally I had a review with my project manager who didn't care about my career progression and when I asked for extra training I was refused it or my request was ignored.
