High Career Opportunity High standard of service Constant Training/Development

Cons

Long Hours (low time to rest between shifts) High rotation of staff demands too much of senior staff to comply with standards of the company No food supplied during breaks in long shifts (12 hours)

We have some fantastic training and development programmes and during 2020 we have reviewed the existing training and added to or updated the content to ensure that we continue to offer internal progression to team members that demonstrate the skills and attitude that we want in Malmaison. Pros

flexible management, career opportunities and easy promotion. Not the usual higher-up attitude. GMs at Malmaison even cook breakfast sometimes if tight.. unthinkable at a Hilton.

Cons

Many hours. Still hospitality. Not fixed standards sometimes.

Pros

Supportive Leadership: Regional and Senior Leadership Teams are highly accessible and genuinely invested in the success of each property. Career Growth Opportunities: MHDV actively encourages internal progression, offers development programs, cross training opportunities and clear pathways into senior roles. Empowered Teams: Managers are trusted to run their properties with autonomy - not something that is easy to find!! Collaborative Culture: Colleagues across the portfolio work closely together creating a positive and inclusive environment.

Cons

Change Management: As the Company continues to innovate and progress, new initiatives roll out quite regularly. Exciting!! But requires quick adaptation at property level.
