* It's basically a one-man controlled company, with each & every decision depending upon the MD's "approval".
* Extremely complex amount of red-tape reminiscent of the govt offices of 70's/80's, even for insider employees to get anything done - because of reason mentioned above.
* There is no proper direction of action : employees just run around often doing very hard work but rarely doing smart/efficient work.
* Some personnel in key positions are just there because they've blessings of the top who's who. So if you are ill-fated to work with them, you will curse every day of your work there.
* Extremely high amount of attrition from the branches due to very low remuneration provided to branch-staff; staff attrition is in truck-loads:
minimum 100 people every day! A monthly salary of 25K to branch-head with 6day work-week and very high sales responsibilities is never going to be satisfactory.
* Some department heads are rumoured to take bribes from external agencies/vendors/candidates etc. for awarding them projects/employment
* High amount of favouritism and partisan promotions - if you're in the good books of certain high-ranking officials you can expect to stay on and reach higher positions, forget about professionalism/ethics etc.
* 6-day work week, every week (not like banks where 2nd/4th sat holiday); sometimes staff may have to work on sundays also.
* Strict office-timings: based on attendance punching, not even a delay of a second in check-in allowed!
