Great People, No Structure

The co-workers are really nice and there's a lot of freedom to learn/pursue what you want to. Work/Life balance is also really good.

Cons

I didn't know how much I craved structure and feedback until I worked at ManoByte. No one knew who was who's boss and many people ended up having to wear a lot more hats than they ever needed to, causing a lot of disorganization. The CEO is well-meaning, but he is so fickle in his decision-making and unreliable when it comes to everything financial. Overall, this job left me stressed and stretched thin at the end of each week and by the end, I needed to leave.

ManoByte is a great place to learn all aspects of our industry. You are given plenty of options for training and growth. In fact training is encouraged incessantly. I love the variety of the workday here, you never get bored. There is always opportunity's to brainstorm ways to provide better service to our clients. You are trusted with flexibility and not micromanaged.

Cons

You have to be willing to go with the flow and be adaptable. Our industry is ever changing and you have to be able to keep up with it and constantly improve your skills as well. With flexibility comes responsibility. You have to be willing to pull your weight and step up to do whatever is needed to get the job done. If you don't the team will notice. There is no place for egos here.

I've had the pleasure of working at ManoByte for about 8 months now and I just love how much trust and creative freedom I've been given. I've gotten to create some awesome content, both for our company and several clients. You definitely have to be a go-getter to succeed in the fast-paced ManoByte environment, but the team makes it easy to look forward to coming into work, no matter how much you have on your plate.

Cons

Communication between departments is still something that needs to get ironed out, but since starting, there have already been great strides towards making it better.
