      Heavily resourced Seems to ‘walk the walk’ Aware of current ed issues

      Cons

      No instruction given to students No support for kids to develop better social skills More concerned with appearing to do the work than doing it Special ed low expectations pre-IDEA alive and well Ignore unsafe student bx and choices Reinforce stereotypes of marginalized populations behind closed doors Could be your last straw in education

      Well funded, nice facility, great potential

      Teachers babysit, NO expectations for students, admin talks a good game but that’s it. Presentation valued over substance in every way.

      Great vision to support students to graduate from high school Students are treated fairly with many opportunities

      Cons

      Faculty is unsupported with little to no help from admin, in dealing with student behaviors-and actions that shouldn’t be tolerated. Students know they have the upper hand at this school, not the teachers, and will use it to get what they want.. There is no leadership guidance. If you do don’t have a significant background in social work, this school is not for you.
