Need to change current manager in SG who only looks for his own well being. Very selfish. Doesn’t fight dor the well-being of the team while he really pushes for his own.

Pros

Some people are actually lovely. There are some good career opportunities and you probably could climb the ranks, which is what I think keeps some of these intelligent, kind people stuck there. Hours are good too.

Cons

Some managers were actually bad people, the atmosphere was an unhappy one as a result. Handling of sensitive claims was at times disgraceful. Absolutely terribly organised and it is the customers who are suffering. Workers have to deal with these upset customers but don't have the power to resolve their issues due to the disorganisation.

Cons

Location completely away from the city No exposure to new technologies Politics and almost no promotions and minimal jokes. Work from hone policy is not so great

PTO was a good benefit

Cons

Micromanaging to the point where employees quit. Getting calls day in and day out getting calls from people screaming, swearing, and complaining about how much they hate me and the company; and I rarely get backed up by supervisor or manager Day to day performance doesn't mean much, you'll only get a raise (very little % most is 3%) if your meeting the department goals. No incentive to do well. Receive bare minimum training on new system that is going to replace current system and get shamed for getting something wrong. Mapfre pays the least in MA. MAPFRE has their heels in the ground to not pay more because of MAPFREs "location" and "free parking". All of the other insurance companies in MA pay there reps +$10,000 more.

Nice management team, trust their staff to work without microscopic checks, trust their staff to make claim handling decisions - pay or decline themselves,

Large backlog of claims due to pandemic, and travel restrictions constantly changing. Senior management very aloof, i barely know the name of my general manager,

Pleasant work, good incentives, motivators, always thinking about the welfare and personal growth of employees. Multiple sports and leisure activities. Possibility of growth within the company.

Cons

Too much support for the managerial staff versus the employee even if the manager is not right.
