Good, demanding, but good

Pros

Positive work environment, good people, lots of community building and benefits. Demanding, which can be positive and foster growth if handled in a mature way. Encourages growth, learning new talents, leadership. New additions to the team have brought stability to the application and this has had a positive effect on the company in general.

Cons

Demanding environment. Was very stressful, everything was on fire. Instability, moving goal posts and stressed interactions. But much of the old infrastructure has been replaced and stability has been the norm for over a year.

Pros

Many great and talented individuals. Great benefits and time off opportunities. Dog friendly office, Really well done office space, SNACKS! near lots of fun stuff downtown. I genuinely wanted to retire there, could be the perfect place to work save a couple key people.

Cons

Being required to "fudge the truth" on security paperwork. I was there for 3 years and saw a turnover of 21 people. Gaslit and assaulted verbally and mentally by the CTO, Still dealing with significant trauma and PTSD which has caused me to question my entire career in tech. The CTO hired my friend just to fire them when I left The company. The CEO is the CTO's wife and when I called the abuse out they put me on "suspension" until the investigation could be closed. I now know why my predecessor dropped off the server room keys and moved into a van in the forest. BEWARE. I thought I was going to retire here now its a source of nightmares and trauma.
