Pros
Decent pay & compensation, Nice co-workers (non-management)
Cons
This place is you typical small team micromanaging model. From an artist point of view, we have to face a boss that doesn't understand anything about art but tries to use his personal "feelings" to art direct. The short time I worked there, we constantly changed project directions, color palettes, character designs on a daily/weekly basis. The upper management is very paranoid and clueless most of the time, so they try to make art changes, and asks you to work long hours without pay. I don't think they are bad people in any way, they just need to be able to trust an art director and let the artists do what they are hired for. I agree with the above. During the interview, they would render the company to be this new, young, quirky place for young people to grow their career. It's NOT! I won't recommend any young artists because they are just trying to take advantage of your inexperience in work environment and your passion for a new job. People are attracted by all the talk at the interview and would quit in months. I only know 1 or 2 people, other than management that stayed for more than 1 year.
