Pros
Great people to work with and a well-known product among developers and engineers. While there is a large MySQL/MariaDB community, sales can be difficult due to strong market preference for MySQL, PostgreSQL, and other alternatives.
Cons
Onboarding is very limited, and there is no clearly defined GTM strategy. If you don’t come from a database background, it can be particularly challenging to ramp up, as new hires are largely expected to figure things out on their own from day one. Given the company’s maturity, I expected at least a basic onboarding framework, along with supporting materials such as marketing assets and customer case studies, but these didn't exist and still do not exist.
