Career path is very muddy. Slowly and steadily a lot of bureaucracy and red-tapism has crept and getting anything done in that environment has become increasingly painful

17 Feb 2023 - Anonymous EmployeeRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
New setup and rapidly expanding in Bangalore. Good to learn about banking from middle eastern perspective. Many youngsters in people management positions.
Cons
Chronic (linguistic) nepotism, favoritism, politics, toxic leadership. No proper workflow procedures, work gets done word to mouth and this is red flag in banking environment. This organization has poor talent acquisition practices, and most candidates have no idea whether their application was read by recruiters/hiring managers. There are no rejection messages either. Back-end lobbying is common here, and that is primarily how most candidates are recruited.
