This company has been in business a long time and hires a lot of people. They most likely hire often because they have difficulty keeping talent. There are a lot of good people working here despite the negative culture fostered by top management.
Cons
CEO sues former employees for leaving to other companies. Take all other reviews with a large grain of salt. Isn't it odd that all the positive reviews for a company that has been in business over 30 years are all within 1 month of each other? Run and hide. If you are in desperate need for a job, they will pay you on time. If you have a career trending upwards with other options, explore those other options. This place will stunt your growth.

We have been doing a significant amount of hiring at MaxLite. The vast majority of these hires are to fill the new positions created by the strong growth of our company. Unfortunately, as a result of our significant success, some of our employees have been poached by several companies who wish to enter the U.S. market from overseas. MaxLite highly values its workforce and has litigated to protect its employees and business against those in violation of their legal obligations and commitments.
Set works hours 8:30-5:30
Paid vacation and sick days
Decent insurance
Decent pay
Lots of room for growth
Cons
The environment can be a bit unprofessional and toxic especially coming from senior employees. Micro-managing is becoming an issue. The training is lacking and you kinda get thrown into your position not really knowing much.
This company has ambitious goals. They definitely want to be a leader in the lighting industry. Nice people work here.
Cons
Constantly hiring from the top down, making more and more work for the people at the bottom while all the VPs make more and more money off our hard work. Should start staffing and paying the lesser exciting departments better to help maintain staff moral and reduce high turnover rate we seem to have here. This company has “suggestion boxes” but seem to ignore them completely.

We have a long-standing open-door policy where any team member is encouraged to meet with anyone in leadership to share constructive feedback. We believe that the best way to meet our objective of continuous growth and improvement is through candid, two-way dialogue rather than being responsive or reactive to anonymous posts on websites; particularly those which contain false information. All current employees are encouraged to share their opinions at any time, as we find them valuable and help create positive change. Former employees interested in helping us create a stronger organization are invited to participate in exit interviews upon their departure or at any time afterwards with anyone in our leadership team.
