Pros

When you work onsite, there’s plenty of food options in the food court, and a Starbucks close by. Employee parking is fob access and close to the elevators. Basic insurance is free.

Cons

Hybrid schedule which would normally be a pro, but their idea of remote is giving you two big monitors, a tower, and a multi line phone ( like the office setup). Not truly remote when you’re hourly… there’s also no Microsoft teams chat, so communicating among team members is clustered and frustrating. You also have to hard wire your internet, my job can be easily done from a laptop and portable monitor ( it did at optum) also Mgrs say hybrid schd but barely come in on their schd office days. Big downer is there is no reception in the bldg, so god forbid you have your family call you for an emergency, they wouldn’t be able to reach you. I also love how Exec Mgmt voted on going back in office but yet you never see them… cause, they’re remote 😑

Pros

Several nice coworkers make employment bearable. Working remotely is a good option as well.

Cons

- Management is uninterested in providing an encouraging and positive work atmosphere. - Management is uninterested in providing real substantial feedback during job performance reviews. - Management is reactionary, no real long term vision, simply trying to stay above water. - Management is negative, bicker with one another and act immaturely. - Management has a history of lying to new hires . - Management lacks technical expertise.

Pros

Benefits are free, you don't have to pay for parking. Systems and technology are up to date. Can dress casual, even with gym clothes.

Cons

You only get trained for 1 week, after that you are on your own! If you ask the leads for help they won't get back to you till after 2 hours. And if you ask the supervisor for help you're gonna get attitude. They seemed nice in the interview, but after that it's like a 360. Oh and if you need to do overtime, you have to write an essay to explain why you need to do an hour of overtime (so stupid) no work/life balance, it's nuts in that department. I asked why this position was open and they told me that the dept. is "growing" lies! 3 people left that position in less than 6 months, NOW I know why the position was open, that assignment needs to be given to a more seasoned person not a new comer.
