Pros

Great entry level position for someone interested in getting their foot in the door at a great hospital. Decent Pay.

Cons

Very strict attendance policy. Some of the managers are only there because they have worked there for so long and not because they are qualified or have the skillset to be a manager.

Pros

Staff is awesome, lots of opportunity to pick up shifts, people are actually willing to work as a team to ensure you get out as close to on time as possible.

Cons

Kronos. The attendance policy is absurd. It needs to be revamped completely because the turnover is way too high because of it. People should not be penalized for calling in sick so instead they risk bringing it in and harming their patients which decreases patient satisfaction and safety! Getting a 1/4 of a point for not punching in after lunch is absurd or not punching out at the end of the day, or if you are more than 59 seconds late you get a 1/4 of a point so if a patient stops you and asks for help you can’t help them unless you want points! The turnover rate has been so high and they have all said they are looking forward to no longer having to deal with Kronos.
