      Products are ok but management is lacking leadership.

      Good products, decent benefits, and that's about it.

      Cons

      Entire management is totally lacking leadership, there are no processes in place, confusion reigns. The fact it is a joint venture makes things worst. Every small issue is solved as an emergency, in firefighting mode. This makes working here very stressful. Upper management destroyed the morale of a good group of people. Lack of training and lack of opportunities to grow as an employee.

      Meritor WABCO is not a good place for an engineer

      Small company with a friendly work environment.

      Cons

      Meritor WABCO is a sales organization created to sell WABCO (Germany) products in US. There is no product development being done at Meritor WABCO. Engineering department has limited technical information available from WABCO-Germany and this makes the job of application engineers very challenging. Management is focused on sales departments and does not value the supporting work of engineering department (application engineering). Promotions are almost inexistent. Test engineering is limited to some system calibration (ABS, ESC) for different truck applications. The main focus of the test group remains technical product demonstrations for various customers.

      Great employees who care about the products and their role in creating a safer transportation environment.

      Cons

      Upper management flip-flops on positions, does not know how to lead anyone, and has destroyed morale of a great group of people.
