Toxic workplace

Pros

Some coworkers gave a lot to make things better

Cons

Owner is a micromanager that doesn’t care about company culture or have any clue how to lead despite his interference. Long hours, no respect, lots of surveillance and false reporting to tear each other down. Overall toxic environment.

Pros

Good coworkers for the most part

Cons

Horribly disfunctional management from the top down. Owner is greedy and only about money. He is out of touch with the actual operational needs. There are no processes or clear mission. Get as many routes and buses as possible and let everyone below him deal with it, all while inserting his demands a horribly micromanaged fashion. As long as the money is coming in. It's not about providing good service to students or schools. Children trying to get to school and drivers doing the work are merely an afterthought. Too many fleet with not enough resources to keep them maintained. Buses are being run into the ground. No consideration of the well-being of the people who do all the work. 12-14 hour days are required from management. Very high turnover and for good reason.
