Pros

Free parking, free bathroom use, free water and coke products, vending machines, and there doesn't seem to be regulation on how much air you breathe but I could be wrong about that

Cons

There have been a lot of complaints about management from current and former employees and rightly so. Management has shown themselves to be negligent, irresponsible, small, idiotic and overall unaware or uncaring of the issues at hand. Which begs the question, if there are so many complaints then why isn't something done? Upon reading reviews such as this one, one would assume that management would surely make a change, yet that is under the dangerous assumption that management knows how to read. It's a rather advanced skill along with listening to others, speaking professionally and politely to employees, being able to hold a difficult conversation without relying on childish antics and fits of rage, and other general social skills that they all appear to lack. How MiMedx has collected such a group of people is a testament to the company's great skill. Granted this isn't the company's only skill. We must acknowledge that this company has made great strides in the biotech sector but there are others to note as well. This company is spearheading the movement to bring back the racism and sexism that modern companies are so lacking. Companies these days are too informed, too modernized, and that's where MiMedx makes it's stand. It holds true to the fundamental values of ignorance and will not abide by the progress made by the rest of the world. Like the great company Motorola, (have I told you how great Motorola is?), MiMedx is determined to churn out the most ignorant and ineffective leadership that this world has ever seen. From miscommunication to condescending tones, all will be utilized to fulfill destiny. Why have supervisors who are qualified, it's the unqualified ones that surely know what's best and that will get this company a head. That seems to be what it takes to get the position any how. With all these cons in mind, why would anyone apply? Well because it could be worse, for example, maybe waste management? If you appreciated any of the things that this review says, then please apply but if you have any sanity left from the insanity that is create in job hunting, please turn back while you can.

Pros

Scraps of food left-over from corporate lunches that we are able to pick at like vultures. Yeah, that's about it .

Cons

Where do I begin... Let's begin at the beginning with the interview of course! Major red flags there, shame on me! My interviewer spoke a lot about himself and his family and just generally how awesome he is. Not a lot about me or how I could be an asset to the company. I interviewed for one position and was offered another only to be told that "there was opportunity to move up quickly if I proved myself." Next, the required work schedule. Expect more than occasional "mandatory over-time." This is to compensate for the incredibly high turn-over and management's inability to keep up with processors quitting. Our unrealistic work schedules mean quality is consistently compromised in order to meet "production goals." For most processors, completing a schedule means coming in early and staying late and then being told, "You are required to punch out for a lunch and you can not punch in 15 minutes before the start of a shift." You will be written up if you don't abide, they don't want to look bad when OSHA comes around. Not to be redundant, but training is wildly inconsistent. Lab aides that were allegedly promoted (on average about six months ago) are still doing the same job while new technicians are being hired in and trained. I've realized that when I encounter a problem or a situation I'm unfamiliar with, it is better to just handle it myself as my "leads" never seem to have a solution and just exacerbate the issue. I'm just going to stop here. For the most part, what I haven't touched upon, has been brought up in previous reviews. The general message being, "DON'T!" "YOU CAN DO BETTER!' "STAY AWAY!"
