Pros

I'd skip this if it were optional. Anyways, just to lighten the mood. The company went from MicroStrategy has good Management to Strategy has good MicroManagement They removed "Micro" from the company's name and added to the management while rebranding.

Cons

- Employees are expected to be seated before start time and stay at their desks without breaks until the end of the day. Leaving early is discouraged, but staying excessively long is normalised, and some even work 18 hours straight on some days. - Leadership culture is demoralising. Senior management frequently belittles employees, emphasises replaceability, exaggerates the forty thousand resumes they have, and yet it is hard for them to find candidates for hiring, as they had to conduct walk-in interviews for the Chennai office, creating a fear-driven environment. - Hiring and growth appear strongly influenced by favouritism. A non-technical VP handles interviews and often focuses on his own personal achievements rather than candidate skills. - Minimal focus on product quality or employee development. Learning opportunities and career progression are nearly nonexistent. - Public criticism and shaming are common, creating a psychologically unsafe workplace. - Employees have been encouraged to post coordinated praise about leadership on LinkedIn, which feels performative rather than genuine.

Pros

Salary is paid on time. Opportunity to work long hours if you want to sacrifice work–life balance completely.

Cons

Extremely unhealthy work culture. Employees are expected to arrive 15-20 minutes before official start time and are discouraged from leaving before end time, regardless of workload. Staying late is normalized—some people work 16–18 hours straight. Management quality is very poor. Leadership focuses more on bragging about personal net worth, insulting employees, and defaming others rather than setting a clear vision or motivating teams. Employees are frequently asked to resign during meetings, creating constant fear and instability. Management uses disrespectful language (calling employees rich and spoiled kids) instead of constructive feedback. New Indian Leadership openly flexes power, implying salaries are paid personally by executives rather than the company. No trust within the organization. Widespread nepotism, brothers hiring brothers, husbands hiring wives, relatives hired via referrals. Merit is ignored. Growth depends on proximity to management, not performance. High attrition, low morale, and zero psychological safety.
