Great teammates and flexibility, but growth and support could be improved.
Pros
Work from home, unlimited PTO, and working with talented teammates who deserve more credit.
Cons
I’m grateful for the experience I gained here, but there are a few areas that need significant improvement. Growth and development felt unclear and, at times, overlooked. Even after one year in the role, I didn’t receive a formal performance review. When I spoke with others, I learned that some had to initiate these conversations themselves. A company that truly values its employees should have a consistent and proactive review process in place. Employees shouldn’t have to ask to be evaluated or recognized. The team was also consistently understaffed. As the company scaled and launched new products, the volume and complexity of cases increased, with many requiring multiple touchpoints and deeper investigation. This often meant working beyond regular hours to keep up. While I raised this in 1:1s, I felt there wasn’t a full understanding of the workload or the nature of the cases, which made it difficult to prioritize and distribute work effectively. Culture is the biggest area for improvement. I didn’t feel a strong sense of recognition, collaboration, or shared belief in the product. At times, it felt like our team was handling the work others didn’t want, without much acknowledgment. Creating a more supportive and engaged culture would go a long way in improving morale. There’s a lot of potential here, but it would require stronger investment in people, clearer growth pathways, and being more intentional about building a positive culture.
