Pros

some people and benefits like lunch at the office sometimes quite interesting projects

Cons

Imagine when the company and C-level are saying to you very often that the situation on the market is terrible, but here, at Miinto, you can feel safe, and we are a stable company for this time. And then, after a few weeks, there is a layoff, and you don't have a job for one day. I don't advise anyone; you never know when you will get fired. The CEO and the board don't care about people and their jobs; everyone's just a number. Behind the smiles and parties, they think you're nothing. The patriarchy of egotistical men, who think they are Goods, but for everyone who worked even for a while for a different company, Miinto is a joke. No process, no stability, and a terrible product.

Pros

- Friendly team and gifts from time to time

Cons

A fashion market place managed by people who don’t know the first thing about fashion or trends. They fired extremely competent people from one day to an other, but promote people with poor management skills, just because they like every posts or praise Miinto on Linkedin. Your opinion and ideas don’t matter at all, the whole company’s decisions are made by 3 people who don’t even ask the concerned teams for feedbacks. The company waists money all the time on fancy parties, useless trips just to say hi to your colleagues in an other country, but then fires people for budget reasons. Lol. They don’t even give you access to Word or Excel, unless you beg for it. Most of teams are horribly managed, cases aren’t followed-up properly. This company would work 1000 times better if it was managed by influencers, honestly.

The most inhumane and obsolete company you could ever work for

Pros

Some of the people working there are still worth it, although I guess it’s not going to be like rhis in the nearest future as everyone is looking forward to quit.

Cons

- No room for improvement, the company does not contemplate the usage of Senior specialists/agents and very rarely assigns managerial roles. - A spending agenda that made the company almost bankrupt: we were having the fanciest parties and always full of free meals until the company made the second massive layoff (first one in 2020) where whole departments were completely erased. And they don’t seem to ever learn the way to treat the employees, this last time they logged them out of emails ecc in less than 1 hour from the termination call, therefore leaving the former employees unable to even say goodbye to their teams and colleagues!!! - The company has clearly made some awful decisions in terms of leadership roles and has gone backwards compared to the other fashion e-commerce platforms. It is ages away from its competitors and is always going to sink deeper as investors have stopped contributing and the company has lost several million € in the past 7 months. - The People and Culture department is inexistent and inefficient. Complaints against managers fall into forgetfulness and even harassment in the workplace-related cases are not addressed properly/at all. - The marketing team is only taking into account the Scandinavian situation, therefore the company has not had the opportunity to be well-known in other European market, an unforgivable mistake. - The ratio between white people and the rest is 100 to 1. And they obviously promote inclusion. -Often time I have found myself to work overtime and I never had it paid over with an addition to my salary. I would never recommend anyone to work for them.
