      Low salary, not too much opportunity for growth and development

      Great work / life balance Good Technology Friendly people

      Cons

      Difficult to increase your salary once you are hired on. This is recognized by superiors and yet nothing is done to correct this. People are not allowed to check their mobile phones (not even writing texts) unless they're on the lunch break. If you want to use the restroom, you must ask for permission and they will take note of how long you were away from your desk. It is very difficult to be promoted, even if you are their best performer.

      Pros

      As a native English speaker there is nothing positive about working for this company in Taiwan. It's a typical Taiwanese engineering company, not good to work.

      Cons

      There is no plan for new products and senior management are just grasping in the dark, launching any products they think will make money without any real plan.
