Toxic management overshadows great employees

Pros

Most of the people that work there are kind and helpful.

Cons

The owners are toxic and hire the same trait in their executive management to carry out their deeds. They made poor decisions, are too narcissistic to admit their mistakes so the employee are paying the 'literal' price. They are firing or relocating current employees (or their jobs) only to then rehire at a lower (unsustainable in 2026) rate. Entire departments are cut without any notice giving the rest of the employees all that much more work. Instead of raises, title changes are given but those only include an increase of duties without an increase of pay. Their employee optional Health insurance is expensive and they do not have 401k matching. They clearly do not value their employees.

Pros

The company has a convenient headquarters location and offers decent base pay compared to similar roles. The PTO policy is reasonable, with around 15 days available, and it’s generally easy to request time off when needed. The company holiday party is also well organized and enjoyable. One positive aspect is that the business itself is relatively stable, so there isn’t constant worry about layoffs.

Cons

Employee benefits could be improved, particularly health insurance, which comes with relatively high premium costs. The office setup includes shared desks, which can make it difficult to have a consistent workspace. Leadership sometimes appears to show favoritism, which can impact team morale. There is also no clear bonus structure or defined process for raises, making compensation growth unclear. Career advancement opportunities are limited, and there is not much room for internal growth. As a result, the company tends to have a relatively high turnover rate.
