Pros

Decent paycheck and nice co-workers

Cons

Department supervisors fluff resumes to get their positions, get to those positions then blame their subordinates for things missed, zero experience so imagine being managed by someone who was never a successful manager in their life, no video cameras in conference rooms so a manager can say you threatened them and despite that not being who you are they will believe them, what a supervisor says is GOLD. No matter what. You are not protected as a regular employee.

From day one, I felt welcomed into a family-oriented culture where people truly care about each other’s well-being. This is a rarity in today's workforce across most industries. One of our core values is “Together as One”, we don’t just talk about it, we live it every day. LEADERSHIP- Leadership isn't tucked away in an ivory tower. They’re present, approachable, and regularly engage with teams at EVERY level. They provide ample opportunities to give transparent feedback, and act accordingly. Our Chief Operating Officer has been at Momar for more than 20 years, he is involved, available, and one of the reasons I enjoy coming to work daily! Our CEO is a 3rd generation family owner, and also has an open-door policy in which he encourages everyone to stop by and talk. When you stop by his office, he listens, he cares. SALES CENTRIC - We are proudly sales centric. I love that we are consistently focused on driving sales performance through strategy, cross division selling, and training. Sales is at the heart of everything we do! We never settle at Momar. There’s a strong sense of momentum here, always striving to improve processes, culture, and how we support one another. This is not a corporate environment, which is one of the reasons I was attracted to this opportunity. If you are looking for a stiff environment, this is not the place for you.
