Bullied out and no support

Pros

Close to home. The staff are under pressure but good to work with. On site gym. The work of looking after people.

Cons

There is no money for staff. No backfill. No training. Asbestos problems at many sites. Bullying is rife and no one does anything. You have to pay for parking and you don't get a spot. There is no maintenance done on anything. Some buildings are a fire trap. They don't live their values. Any excuse to cut costs and wages.

Pros

Self rostering, computerised notes. Most ANUMs are supportive but are not always trustworthy. Education opportunities with paediatrics as well as adults.

Cons

Abusive bullying culture. Intimidation from HR when one complains about behaviour. Educators blocking career advancement due to gossip from other nurses. Gradual increasing workloads and reduced staff.
