Pros

Luncheons, office holiday parties seem fun but only if your not drowning in work or if your cool enough to join the "cool kids" otherwise it's just awkward. Your coworkers will treat you the way your boss treats you. Which isn't pleasant when you have a bipolar boss. However, every remote employee I had the pleasure of working with was always willing to help (due to the lack of training or help from the person sitting next to you.) What I did takeaway from this company is to always rise above poor attitudes and "cliques" and always be professional with others regardless of how they treat you. I would always lend a hand to help even if a single hand from someone else never came my way. I would never want someone to experience what I went through.

Cons

Your coworkers are the family of the client! Talk about favoritism! Cliques are created, gossip is their reason for work - make a mistake... everyone knows and is quick to judge! Moroch claims work/life balance but can careless about your personal issues along with HR.

Pros

When I first stated at Moroch it was a good place to work. Benefits are the best and you won’t find any better benefits anywhere. They give you more time off then any other company does. Great holidays and monthly parties for the employees to wind down.

Cons

They should pay you for all the overtime that you put in. My supervisor told me not to put it on my time sheet since I wouldn’t get paid for it anyway. If I would have put it on my time sheet management would seen that I was overworked and underpaid. Too much gossip and nothing was done about it even though they told us we shouldn’t gossip, people still did it. Pay is low. Too much favoritism. All employees should be treated fairly. Supervisors should pay more attention to all their employees and not let certain people get away with things that other people would have gotten in trouble for. Too much drinking at all the parties they had at work.

Pros

I was a victim of the recent layoffs and here is my honest, non-bitter critique: Moroch used to be one of the more coveted places to go in town. They did nice, award-winning creative and lots of broadcast work. I enjoyed my time there, even though they were incredibly process-heavy to the point of if getting in the way of what's best for the clients. Everyone got along and there was a good mix of fun, goof around time with cool people mixed with occasional cool projects.

Cons

The problem, which led to the layoffs, was Moroch put all their eggs in the McDonald's basket and when over half of that business went away - guess what, tons of of people got let go - not a smart business decision at all. Moroch was first and foremost a McDonald's agency and didn't work hard enough to keep other cool clients around - and it bit them in the end. Lots of good people lost their jobs and I'm not sure even the work they kept for McDonald's will be very good moving forward - lots of just tweaking work that the national agency provides. Moroch might need a few years to slowly build itself back up.
