I think there is not one person in the headoffice who has any education to do what they’re hired to do. HR woman being the worst. She is constantly patronising, very uneducated and she seems to be loved by the director guy for some reason. It’s all very friendly there and they seem to get away with anything! The same time the stores are micromanaged by them, the store managers can’t do their job as they need approval for any action from them. So then you have good store managers leaving quickly because they’re under a constant watch of uneducated higher ups. It seems more of a survival bootcamp not a beauty store. Also mental health is not something that this company even understands. They only focus on giving unachievable targets and this demotivates the teams. Also pushing only for sales and KPIs with no training or actual understanding of how customers shop nowadays… and how come all best sellers are discounted? It looks like someone higher is trying to make the company fail with removing all the products that make money and bringing all new launches that no one asked for… and then you are questioned about KPIs and target when you are actually struggling to push the product as no one likes it…

Almost everything!! The turnover rate for managers and BAs is ridiculous, and only got worse when the company filed for bankruptcy. The managers I had when I started were amazing but eventually moved onto bigger and better things. The last manager I had was ridiculous especially considering he was only the assistant manager. He was rude, condescending, unprofessional, would interrupt you when with customers, told staff off in front of customers which made embarrassed everyone. I could genuinely go on for hours. Anyways, one of the managers from FORMA brands (Morphe's parent company) is just as bad. I had met this man countless times and not once did he ever try to introduce himself to me but rather gossip and make jokes when I handed in my notice. The level of professionalism is not existent. I would only recommend joining if you want some free makeup. After that, leave because the discount is the same as the customer sales.

Stock wasn’t the greatest therefore it was difficult to sell certain products.

The salary is low, but a lot of extra things are asked.

Managers are highly hypocritical and have their favourites. They chose to enforce policies when its suit them best.
