Pros

There is really good comradery and amazing members on this team

Cons

Despite this work being classified as an independent contractor position, many workers are told what to do and when to do it, with lunch breaks being scheduled as well. Workers are monitored on an hourly basis, even when not on live platforms. Asks for flexibility with hours are rarely accommodated or are given a good amount of pushback, even though contractors are supposed to be allowed full flexibility so long as they meet deadlines/targets/expectations of the job. On the note of expectations, management will give workers new tasks at any given moment without a pay raise or bonus for the added responsibilities. This extra work is often given with unrealistic deadlines, and cannot be completed within the 8 contracted hours in the day. Many secretly work before or after hours to complete their asks, as we're not allowed to frequently report or ask for overtime, but a lack of completion comes with penalty. There is no over time pay, and over time hours are accrued as "time off". If you call out, even if you use accrued/take the pay cut to compensate/work to make up the hours, it is counted against you for the 6 month review. In one such occasion, a worker was forced to pull an all-nighter to finish the ask in time, only to be told there was no reason it should have taken them so long. Management requests that workers avoid speaking in regards to duties, pay, or other "private" details about their work. This is their way of trying to prevent employees from realizing how poorly everyone is treated, or from realizing the favoritism at play. If the task is rejected citing any of these reasons, they will increase monitoring of your work, as they do not realize how much they already ask workers to do. Management is sloppy with organization and does not keep their internal information up-to-date. Instead, they ask workers (not managers) to moderate the majority of documents. Those are the only documents kept updated with factual and timely information.

Pros

- Lots of room for growth - Teams are encouraging and helpful - Fast-paced (a pro and a con, depending on how you see it) but you can definitely learn a lot

Cons

- Again, fast paced & similar to a start-up environment; can be seen as both a pro and a con but you will definitely learn a lot
