Thank you for your four-star review. We're pleased to see that you’ve had such a positive experience at NCFE. People are at the heart of our organisation, and we’re constantly evolving the colleague experience to ensure it remains relevant. For example, through the introduction of new benefits such as YOU celebration day (an extra paid day off), as well as a monthly YOU hour for colleagues to spend away from their roles to support their wellbeing and development. While we appreciate hybrid working isn’t suitable for everyone, it does provide a level of flexibility that colleagues enjoy. We’re also aware that workload can increase for certain teams during busy periods (for example, during the summer as we work hard to ensure learners receive their results on time) and colleague wellbeing is extremely important to us. We encourage all colleagues to speak to their line managers about any challenges they’re facing with workload and strive to prioritise and find solutions together.

Thank you for sharing your feedback about working at NCFE. We’re glad to hear you value the colleagues you work with and appreciate our flexible culture, which are both key elements for us in maintaining a positive working environment, where colleagues can flourish in their careers with us. We appreciate your feedback regarding leadership, management, and workload distribution, and these are all areas we are dedicated to continually improving. Upskilling our line managers and leadership has been the focus of our Line Manager Core Skills program, and the Community of Best Practice sessions, designed to provide clarity on the foundational skills, knowledge and behaviours essential for managers to lead their teams effectively. Additionally, whilst we are aware that the workload can increase during busy periods, we encourage all our colleagues to speak to their line managers about any challenges they are facing and will strive to find solutions together. We’d encourage you to continue sharing your feedback and ideas through our various communication channels, such as our regular Pulse engagement surveys, one-to-ones or team discussions, or our next connection day drop-in session, helping shape our continued focus.
