      Great work/life balance, but bonuses are disappointing

      Pros

      Great work/life balance. Management, supervisors & resources are always available if needed. Consistent and hard work is rewarded. Great people overall. Room for advancements in different parts of the lab, or opportunities to branch off into other departments.

      Cons

      Yearly bonuses are lackluster. Even with excellent reviews, you don't earn much more per year - which makes it difficult to maintain cost of living.

      Good for Varied Trainings

      Pros

      They really value cross-training staff. Many of the analysts have been in two or more departments and help out when asked due to changes in sample volume/testing demands. Very encouraging towards fresh graduates, good pay & decent benefits out of college, and understanding during learning periods. Training is thorough and takes several months to complete, but once you prove yourself they are hands-off and allow independence. The culture is very collaborative and you will fit in as long as you are hard-working and keep a positive attitude. It is very easy to stay on management's good side.

      Cons

      Benefits could improve. Not much room for upward mobility, but steady work regardless.

      Management doesn't really change, not much room to grow on that career path. Analyst, tech, and tox path has more opportunities
