Extremely crappy tools developed in-house are used instead of good existing solutions and they waste an extreme amount of developer time. Leadership has no vision and no strategy, company has no new business, only weak maintenance, so no meaningful work to do. People other than developers are incompetent, they are not put to the test when joining the company. Top management is utterly irresponsible and demoralizing. This company will crash into the ground in a couple of years.

A Business Unit leader (BUL) persuaded the CEO to fire another BUL and merge the two BUs. Management decided to introduce SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) although the invited consultant company urged to fulfill the necessary prerequisites first. The company is introducing entry gates "because of security reasons", measuring the time spent inside the buildings. Good bye meetings in the garden... and you'd better hurry walking from one building to another. A lot of smart employees fled the company last year, the trend somewhat slowed down this year. After the recent changes it will likely speed up again.
