Pros

A lot of quality product lines, remote offices, decent marketing group, not a lot of travel out of state

Cons

Complex sales compensation plan, leadership and sales strategies change based on which sales book is popular at the time, sales people have to account for poor stocking, lead time issues, errors, and customer credit problems, unsure of technical expertise expectations for the sales role. I saw another review that said feeling like a family also meant dealing with the downsides of how families act - something to consider if you like an extremely professional work environment. I put unsure of future, as I was laid off due to Covid and told by HR that it was 10+% of the workforce at that time. This was after the first PPP loan.

Pros

The NEFF group maintains a consistent set of values and a clear company vision. They use this stability to empower it's employees to execute business plans that are in line with that vision. This allows the employees to take ownership and experience great pride in being a part of an organization where you are contributing in a tangible way. Those efforts are recognized and appreciated by the ownership and profits are shared to the entire employee group in a very generous manner. If you desire a company that supports life long learning and a strong focus on customer service, this is an outstanding company to spend your career.

Cons

Due to the wide variety of product lines we represent, the demands of the job can be challenging. While this creates would be a pro for people who like to learn, for those who like to spend "2 weeks" and be totally trained on the job, this is not the type of company to offer that experience.

Pros

Family owned private company. Good people and skillful at what they do.

Cons

bonus structure for sales instead of commissions. If you don't hit certain numbers you don't get paid. Made caring for a family very difficult during Covid year. They began worrying about the "cost of sales" more than keeping the right people motivated who worked hard to develope lasting customer (revenue giving) relationships.
