Pros

No pros. Well, maybe the office in towncenter.

Cons

1. Slavery, pure slavery for those people, who are not a friend of management. 2. Leads and top managers are the group of people, who have no experience in management or leading at all. Total bad style or 90s style of management. We pay you bonuses or increase salary only if we like you. We like you only if you agree with us in everything. If you have your own opinion or you criticize, you are not with us. If you are not with us, then you will work as a slave, you will be accused in every tiny mistake and we will figure out how to make your working life terrible. 3. No working process in product delivery. No QA process. No methodologies. Enternal hot-fixing and merging to prod. 4. They hire people, promising huge salary, best conditions, possibility for personal growth and big bonuses blah blah blah. Nothing of what was promised is true. All promises are total lie. Also they pay part of the salary in envelopes and sometimes inform about it only after your probation period is over. Not at the interview. 5. They bring babies and infants to the office. Like usually. There were many inquiries and complaints about that the noise is disturbing and it's not a working atmosphere. But no changes and the reply is "it's your own problem". Well, everything is your own problem, in fact. There is no company problems in this company. 6. They hire specialists but want them work as students. It means, you give critics of the process, no proposals, your are not a person, you are a working item, a resource. How do you feel, what you think - they are not interested in that. 7. Overtimes. Half a year of overtimes, which were not paid. "It's your own choice, we don't pay for your enthusiasm". It means, that if you are motivated to do your job well, it's your own wish, company is not interested in motivated and thinking specialists. 8. "We give you good references only if you don't spread negative feedbacks". Well, in their world good feedbacks are not about your work, but about how grateful and excited you are about their little paradise for white sirs.

Pros

Work at city centre Parking at city centre Own gym and sauna (but without separating men and women and with transparent doors) Kitchen with food and snacks

Cons

Food in kitchen is primary snacks and junk food, easy to loose control and increase weight. All time problems with air condition system and fresh air. Can't open window (it is centre and it is a bad idea anyway). Temperature in office is not all time comfortable or air is fresh. Bright sunlight is killing my eyes. Old technology stack based on monolithic legacy code written on java 5 or lower + jsp templates everywhere + angular 1.6 in some places. Lot of in-house solutions and self written frameworks. No modern frameworks like Spring or Spring Boot. Constant management problems, unclear tasks without any specs or requirements. Regularly it is needed to rewrite code several times because of it. Nobody wants to take responsibility for decision and solutions. No documentation and how it works knows only nobody. Working process is done using Russian language - tasks, wiki, docs, specs, bugs etc. It is not bad, but very hard to describe features without English. + not all colleague knows English on basic level or higher. Unofficial salary, can be a issue if you need to take a loan in bank or pass some finance audit. Unfriendly environment in office because of unprofessional management and widely spread nepotism in company. Unfair differential treatment to stuff. hard working environment All of it cause the constant staff turnover. Company leave senior developers and even high managers. About 10-15 people left the company during last half year. Salaries not biggest one in Tallinn even with all envelops and bonuses.

Nice office, but poor quality management

Pros

Good office location, free food and parking, low noise working atmosphere, own small gym.

Cons

1. Poor quality upper management. Company doesn't have any mid or long term strategy. Basically, this is one-man show, and that man is not located at the office. If you wanna take manager or senior developer position, you will face with tens of skype chats with 10-20-30+ participants. It should be closely monitored by you, and you have to react to some random messages in it, and execute decisions from the chat. 2. Employees paid with envelope wages. Nothing to add, thats common practice at Tallinn office. 3. Gossips. Company fulled with tittle-tattle chats. Top management never have widespread talks about company targets, future big updates, new projects or reorganization plans. The only way to keep updated is listening rumors. If you are good in such activity, you'll be promoted faster. 4. Brain drain. Last year, number of great experts left the company. That people spent 3-5 years here and quit for a reason of negative top management environment. That's a pity, not much such level professionals left.
