Pros
The idea of New Horizons is great but the management has no idea to execute them. If you're day staff you can truly make an impact on the lives of the children here. Insurance is good.
Cons
Rotating 12 hour shifts, low pay (fluctuating wages), overtime pay is only like $4, good luck getting time off, new employees aren't really accepted, night staff does most of the chores even though day staff has nothing to do all day when the kids are at school, in fact some go home and take naps, you have to use PTO when you take time off instead of having a choice so if you have any kind of emergency it will wipe whatever you have out, management doesn't seem to care about the well being of their employees... and once again pay sucks, definitely not worth all the energy and time you put into the job.
