Pros

I’ve been working as an inbound marketing specialist at New Perspective for nearly three years, and I love the work that I do. New Perspective is a fast-paced, fun environment. The people here truly care about our clients and the work that we do, and that makes for a great company atmosphere. The company culture at New Perspective truly stands out. Because it’s a small company, you really get to know the people you’re working with, and management actively strives to create a tight-knit team. Through company events and outings (movie nights, ping pong games, trips to Boston, and more), we really get the opportunity to spend quality time together. I feel that this creates trust with one another and makes us stronger as a team. The day-to-day operations here are fast-paced but organized. Because New Perspective is an agile agency, we go into each day with a plan for what we’re going to get done. This structure is extremely helpful; we all have the chance to align each morning, which leaves little room for misunderstandings or confusion. Even if a client calls in with an urgent request, our extensive planning ensures that we are prepared to adapt and keep the week running smoothly. As a company, New Perspective invests in their employees and gives us constant opportunities to learn and grow, from team presentations to individualized training days. The digital marketing space is always changing, and management recognizes the value in keeping us all well-educated in the field. I personally have learned more about inbound and content marketing in this position than I ever thought possible. For me, the best part of working at New Perspective (besides the company atmosphere) is the variety of the work. I am primarily a content writer, and because we work with clients in so many different industries, that means that I am always working on and learning about something new. The work is interesting, the people are great, and I am constantly given new opportunities to learn and grow. Because of all of this, I have truly enjoyed my time at New Perspective. If you are driven, ready to learn, and want to be part of a great team, I would absolutely recommend New Perspective.

Pros

I've been at NPWS now for over 2 years and I can say that NPWS is the best company I ever worked for. Amazing culture and excellent management. The team is small but extremely talented and hardworking. I feel like I'm valued and contributing to the greater goal. I have a lot of autonomy in how and when and where I work. In overall truly great place to work!

Cons

I really don't have any cons to add.

Pros

It's a healthy small-business environment so the team dynamic is good, and there's a broad range of backgrounds so the depth of experience and technical acumen is helpful. The variety of clients and speed of marketplace change mean that tasks don't really have time to get monotonous before conditions shift. Some clients are very engaged and participatory, so you get to know them.

Cons

It's an agency model in a technical market, so time is king - both in terms of time to market and constraints on time spent. For the more uncommunicative clients, it can be frustrating not to get timely (or sometimes any!) feedback on new initiatives or good advice.
