Pros

I joined Nexa with little confidence in my ability to succeed in my role. I still remember the Managing Director words when he said, I believe in you. With us, you just need to be honest, loyal, and a hard worker, He hired me for my character only. Then, I found on my way the best manager ever, The support I received was unbelievable. I don't know if I could ever give that much time and effort to a team member under my team, but he did, he was an open book for me and fully supportive. It's a friendly and supportive workplace. Management is easy to talk to, and the flexible hours show they understand what people need. The team feels like a family; everyone is appreciated, honest, and trustworthy. The empowering culture is amazing. To succeed at Nexa, you just need to be honest, show a willingness to learn, and work hard, you'll be rewarded for it. The experience was amazing, working with diverse industries and gaining significant knowledge. The expertise of my colleagues was truly impressive and readily shared. All you need is always ask and a passion for learning. I wish I'd had the chance to stay longer, at least two more years, for a total of four. It was a great two years, and I'm very happy with my journey.

Cons

Nothing special, the usual workplace challenges you'd find anywhere.

Pros

Nothing good about the company

Cons

Not at all professional. They get All the work done and then fire them without any intimation. Call them one day to office and ask them not to come. No proper handover is been allowed to give. Immediately once they inform you that you don't have to come from next day they immediately revoke your access to emails etc. HR is super useless who does not know people skills and cannot stand for her staff. No company removes staff like this. There is always a notice period a proper let going of staff. what kind of company unprofessional is this. This spreads a lot of negativity amongst the others as well. They say it's a flat organization but no its not. Hell of politics is bene played at the higher management only. The staff are good and don't play any politics. Each time we staff are under pressure with the environment. There is no rewards and recognition. I think all the higher management must work with different companies to see how they work including the so called HR. To learn to unlearn what they know.

Dear Reviewer. It's unfortunate that your employment with the company did not continue but it's important to note that we are legally bound by the laws of the countries that we operate within and complied with these laws in full with regards to your employment. There are times that we deem the handover of work unnecessary and in this case given that your employment was terminated, most likely due to a lack of performance it's logical that we wouldn't expect you to handover your work. Furthermore, by saving yourself from coming to the office during your paid notice period, this provides you with the opportunity to fully focus on the next stage of your career. We also understand that this can be a painful experience and thus, our approach also saves you from facing colleagues in a professional environment. We're sorry it didn't work out and sincerely wish you the very best of luck in the future.

Pros

Honestly, I couldn’t find any pros in this company.

Cons

I left nexa a couple of months ago. Initially, I had no intention of writing a review because the company simply didn’t matter to me anymore. However, I recently saw a post on LinkedIn that shocked me, and it only reinforced my belief that favoritism is deeply rooted in nexa. Promotions and decisions are often based on personal biases rather than merit. Recently, a woman was promoted to Client Services Head, the same person who was made Social Media Team Lead just a year ago. Despite lacking knowledge of social media and client handling, she leads both the social and design teams and tries to exert control over other departments like SEO, Performance, Content and Web. She carries herself like she’s running the entire company, giving orders and interfering across all departments. This individual is known more for her flattery than for competence. She often shares confidential discussions from management meetings with others in the office and speaks poorly of her own team in front of senior leadership. Many clients were uncomfortable interacting with her and preferred dealing directly with Account Managers. If you're considering joining nexa, especially in the Social Media team, please reconsider. This environment may not be conducive to career growth, particularly if you're not part of the favored inner circle of top management or social media lead. The management generally fails to recognize dedicated employees and instead seems to value those who flatter or align personally with leadership. One of the key figures in the company, the CEO’s younger brother wields absolute power in a highly unprofessional manner. His behavior is unpredictable and often demeaning, he literally behaves like a psychopath, company runs on his mood like a pregnant woman he always has a mood swings, he keeps humiliating employees, creating a toxic work culture that demoralizes staff. They recently hired a new Creative Director who, unfortunately, adds to the toxic atmosphere by constantly complaining about everyone behind closed doors. If you're serious about your career and want to work in a healthy, professional environment, nexa may not be the right choice. Salary & Benefits: Salary: Below market standards, with little to no increment even after 2–3 years, and only after repeated requests. Basic Salary: Lower than your housing and transportation allowance. They deliberately keep the basic salary at a minimum, so when you leave, you don’t receive a substantial end-of-service benefit. Airfare: Not provided, unlike most reputable companies that offer annual or biennial airfare. Bonuses/Incentives: Practically nonexistent. Even the sales commissions have been stopped, prompting most of the sales team to leave. Management now handles sales themselves. In summary, this is a highly dysfunctional organization, with questionable leadership and a lack of appreciation for genuine talent and hard work.
