...Wellness Programme...Just don't go here

Pros

There are no pros to this organisation. Funny to see people stating the location as a pro - plucking at straws!

Cons

Great to see people being able to get the truth out into the marketplace about this company..about time. I understand on the back of the negative reviews, current employees were called together and 'encouraged' to post certain positive remarks by the CEO, along with the posts the CEO has also faked - which is very obvious. The advise on their Wellness Programme is amusing. A councellor was provided by the CEO and their service was taken up by a number of members... supposedly confidentially but the CEO had no problem informing snr management as to who was using this service.....after a number of staff started using the service, the councellor very soon began to advise people to leave Next Generation as it is an extremely toxic environment managed by someone who should not be in business. There is absolutely no confidentiality or trust with this CEO. She has lied about peoples personal and professional lives. She has had to pay out money to former employees for unfair dismissal cases and she has an incredibly poor reputation in the market for her ethics. Don't waste anytime considering this company to work or with.

Pros

Access to very good candidate databases. The commission structure is very strong also. Nice offices in a very central location in the city.

Cons

There is a constant feeling of tension on the floor. Employees are berated by management on a daily basis on the floor in front of the entire team, so that everyone can hear. It is a complete micro management culture. KPI's and calls times/volumes are measured every day and if they are missed you are berated by senior management in front of the team. Hours are 9-6 but you would be expected to work far more hours than that. Turnover is huge in this company and it is a complete revolving door. I would recommend any recruiter against joining this company.

To whomever wrote this, thank you for taking the time to do so. It certainly seems this person did not have a good experience while at Next Generation which is really disappointing. It is very disappointing for us as a company that that was your experience. We try and really focus on our culture and particularly important for the social needs we all have from work. WE try and build a collaborative culture where everybody can learn and grow in their roles. However, that does not seem to have been the case here and we need to look at that. Hours can be long and customers have high expectations of Next Generation employees. Our customers needs are very important to us and that does have an impact on our staff's working hours, but even for those for whom it does not work out, the experience should have been more positive. Again many thank for your feedback - CEO Next Generation

Pros

Honestly, I find it hard to think of any, I would be lying if I did have any

Cons

Where do I start....this organisation is toxic, not only for your career but for your mental health. I had to laugh when I saw all these amazing and positive reviews coming out of the woodwork, the CEO must have paid a pretty penny to her staff for those reviews, unless she promised them nothing but on the job training and rewards down the line. These positive reviews are all lies ladies and gentlemen, there is nothing honest about Next Gen nor the people that run it. To give you a laugh, the 'employees' that mention nights out and a company trip to Vegas, that happened nearly 2 years ago and nothing since that, just goes to show you, does't it? Don't believe for a second that the CEO has an open door policy, she may open the door for you, but what will happen next won't be pretty - constant abuse and being shouted out is not my idea of an amazing office or one that I would recommend ANYONE getting into. The people that work there are all too afraid to leave; I was lucky, I got out just in time but I would say that the management are making their employees lives hell. Please be warned that this is not an office you want any sort of experience in, there are plenty of other agencies out there that will not only train you up properly but will also treat you as an equal as well as not shouting at you in front of your peers, now isn't that the dream?

Dear Former Exployee, Thank you for your review, just to clear nobody in our organisation is either forced or paid to put a review on Glassdoor, our current employee's have put what they feel from their perspective on the site and should be respected accordingly. These reviews consist of new and established employees. As a company we have always had a strong social element and are continuing to do so. As a company we run many staff initiatives including our current one. As mentioned again all employee’s are free to leave and in this buoyant economy will have no problem getting a new role elsewhere. The employee's who are here are here because they choose to be. Having recently done a confidential Great Places to Work Survey and having been selected in our year one of applying to Great Places to Work, our culture has come up very strong over the last year. Again thanks for taking the time to review Next Generation and it is unfortunate you didn't enjoy your experience here. Regards Linda Davis CEO
