All of these multi level marketing companies are just full of false hope. For starters, interviewers present you with what seems like an incredible opportunity to make a lot of money and eventually be your own boss. But it's just not realistic. What actually happens is that you go door to door trying to convince people that AT&T is a better product than Charter. It is commission only. If you don't sell, you don't eat. It is physically and mentally draining. While you are going door to door, you are using your own car and your own gas with no reimbursement. You will also be knocking on doors in the dark which I promise you is not fun. North doesn't always provide you with permits for your territories, so getting run of by the cops is a regular occurrence, which is a testimant to how unprofessional this business is. On a stellar week, you might make $600. After taxes you're looking at $500. Factor in gas and expenses you're left with $400. If you divide that by the 60 hours you work in a week you're making about $7 an hour, and that's on a good week. Do not take this job if you're looking to get rich, this job should be viewed strictly as experience for your next job.
