Pros

Most flexible schedule ever. Excellent PTO (company shuts down between Christmas and New Years). Good pay and benefits. Amazing work environment. Low cost of living in rural MN.

Cons

located 2 hrs from MPLS but if you like rural not a big deal.

Pros

Don’t read into the recent negative reviews, they are bitter and not the true Nova-Tech image. -They care about the people and everything is team based. I am on the road a lot but is helpful to know I have a team at home to help. -They give you the whole Christmas week off. - We have autonomy to build our own travel schedule to do our customer visits for what works best for all. -I have always felt like they are fair and really enjoy my leaders. Nova-tech is not like any of my previous employers, in a good way. I have never felt like I could not be myself and I had to have “status” to be apart of the department.

Cons

-We are in need of more team members so we can spread out the accounts more.

Pros

- fun to promote a new(ish) product - international aspect of nova tech is fun - some really great people

Cons

- Overall senior leadership and even product owners (managers in the scrum framework) are very out of touch with the needs of the customers and the needs of the account managers. - Unfortunately where you go to church and who you are friends with is very important here. - Overall they do not aim to treat employees and customers fairly - aim to get as much out of everyone as they can. - Think that their product is so essential that they have complete control over customer relationships and think that working there is so great (esp in a town like Willmar) that they hold all the control in employee relationships. - In my time there, I knew of 3 people who were fired or forced to resign through no fault of their own without severance or even PTO paid out (3 is A LOT - I've never seen 1 person unfairly fired anywhere else I worked because companies are usually careful). They also do this weird thing where they say nobody at the company can contact the person who was fired and if they hear that you have contacted your previous coworker HR will call you and remind you you are not allowed to talk to them. (They even called the person they fired months later and reminded them they are not allowed to talk to anyone at the company - which is a little bizarre because they don't have anything to hold over someone once they've already fired them.) - The HR team is only there to protect the employer, not to aid the employees and they weren't afraid to bend rules to screw the employee.
