Inadequate facilities and unsatisfactory work life

Freedom during GET phase, beneficial to one who is looking for higher studies. Can gain work experience in industrial field but the quality of work experience is doubtful Cross departmental learning during GET phase helps to explore different departments of manufacturing company During GET phase you are paid for learning and gaining knowledge:) May be useful for candidates who are serious about an industrial career and who want to pursue masters in core branch. GET phase is full of enjoyment but life after that is terrible Work life balance depends upon the location one gets after completing GET phase (jamshedpur and durgapur plants are rated good but personally I felt even that doesn't gaurantee great work-life balance)
Cons
The brand value of nuvoco is poor and quality of work ex one gains is really not worthy Basic amenities are very poor in almost all of its plants After GET phase work pressure is high and salary looks peanuts A lot of politics occur at every level in this organisation Zero communication skills Highly polluted work place Lack of skilled employees Poor salary hikes and stagnant growth And ofcourse 1:100 female-male ratio and that 1 could be a senior citizen:p Be ready to laugh at age old jokes as you are surrounded by people of double your age. Young minds is a myth here Major work of managers is to maintain cleanliness in and around machines in addition to playing politics Final location Is based upon lucky draw
